Sri Lanka Has been facing it's worst financial crisis while the world is unaware to their problem

this economic crisis started in 2019 and still no good improvements have been observed

In this period Australian cricket team showed a prize money as a gesture

About $30,000 US dollars would be donated as a gesture of support to help the crisis-hit

Australian cricketers witnessed many of the long fuel issues and political demonstrations during the mid year tour

they also understood the tough situation millions of sri lankans facing like fuel shortage over there

So, they decided donating the prize money as a gesture of support
