Aaron Finch will retire tomorrow
Aaron finch has declared his retirement from One day international cricket
His last ODI match is on Sunday, 11 September 2022, against New Zealand
To this date, Aaron Finch has played 145 ODIs. But he is facing an incredibly awful form
This year, even being a top order batsman, he has scored only 26 runs in last 7 inning
So, he will not be a part of Australia’s ICC Men’s cricket world cup 2024
But he will continue to captain team Australia in T20I world cup in 2023
Finch has a brilliant ODI career with the record of 5400 runs with 17 centuries under his name
Here is what Aaron finch said while declaring his retirement in a press release from cricket Australia
“It has been a fantastic ride with some incredible memories.”
“It’s time now to give a new leader the best possible opportunity to prepare for and win the next world cup.”
“I thank all of those who have helped and supported my journey to this point.”
